Do you drink coffee?

How many of you drink coffee?
I have recently met a few people that do not drink coffee.

I love coffee and it's great when I wake up. I'm an insane coffee drinker BUT I'm not like "Ooooo, this is a Kona 10% blend, nice." I'm more of the "Tastes great / Tastes like ass" type of person. I don't care what kind of coffee it is (as long as it's not cheap generic coffee). As long as it's tasteful that's all that matters. Coffee at the convenience stores usually taste like ass. No matter how much sugar you put in there it's always bitter. That sucks. So when I'm on the go I grab a fast and furious cup of capuccino.

I dislike coffee - I only drink it when it's really necessary (which is rather seldom) ...

Just got carried away in a post on another board and realised the problem is I haven't had enough coffee. It's the only thing that keeps me going

I say coffee but to be honest tea or RedBull will do just as well. As long as I can get loaded on caffeine...

Hi, Steve:

When Tev and I lived in Seattle, we only bought Seattle's Best Coffee, Breakfast Blend. We were coffee snobs.

Since being exiled in no man's land, it's Folger's and we're grateful. It could be worse.

We have two coffee makers in the kitchen. Mom makes sure they are always fresh. Love that woman.

Without coffee, I am useless.

Without mass amounts of coffee, fuggedaboudid!

Water is the only other beverage of choice for me. I keep a case of bottled water near my desk. I only drink it, because, after a while, coffee starts to leave a nasty taste in my mouth. Is that what you refer to as "ass"?

LOL! "fuggedaboudid"! You crack me up Raven!

For the non-coffee drinkers out there, what do you drink?

I have a friend that works for RedBull but in another state. He brings me a case or two of free RedBull now and then, but I have to ration it and that's hard to do.

Usually only for those late nights or early mornings. I'm looking for an alternative, something like Red Bull but it's not sold in Canada.

Weekdays on the commute in to the office: Folgers in a travel mug for the 2 hour ride into the office.

Weekends at home: Fresh Fields "Organic Mexican" beans that we grind fresh and make a WICKED pot of coffee for relaxing and getting totally wired out, with a nice homemade breakfast.

That is a sacred morning ritual! Drink a cup of coff-ay (or several), and maybe stare at the wall for a while.....

Maybe I've had a few too many cups of coff-ay this morning, but I have the chills, and I think it might snow. Isn't it supposed to be summer still? Then why am I sitting over the heat register?

I absolutely love coffee. I used to work in a coffee shop when i was younger. When it wasn't busy, all i did was make myself coffee.

Instant coffee, not a big fan. But i like the Nescafe espresso and gold blends.

Steve...I've got a big hug ready for you next week!!

For those of you who drink Red Bull...tell me why?

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to pour granulated sugar down your throats? :-)

Man, the first time I had Red Bull I had to go pick up my family from the airport. I was bouncing off the freaking walls! It took a couple minutes to kick in... but once it did, holy shit.

Can't stand coffee. Lemonade and Mountain Dew are a staple at my place.

I love coffee and I am a bit of a connoiseur as well.

btw 10% Kona blend is ass, you don't want Kona blended IMHO you want a 100% Kona to enjoy the benefits of that bean. The blends are just to bring the price of it down.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob..I have a membership to the coffee of the month club and have had some great coffee...also some that was beyond tasting like ass

my favorite is the Jamacain Blue Mountian Roast..expensive as hell, but the equivelant of a coffee blowjob....

mmmmmmmm, coffeeeeeeeeeee

I like it any way it comes. Black, w cream & sugar, whatever. I buy these flavored creamers too, like Irish cream or French vanilla, or amarEtto...... damn, they liven up a cup o java.

I've had the blue mountain, it is quite amazing. Nice as a special thing, but I don't need that level of richness in my coffee every day. THE WORST cup of coffee I had lately was from a McDonald's drive thru. Absolute dishwater.

I've quit caffeire six times now, because it makes me just about schizophrenic and have trouble sleeping anyway. But this time I think I've got a stable hold on it. I recently bought some Fucker brand coffee
, which is quite good.

I love the taste of coffee. I've been drinking it since I was about 2 years old. I had NASTY asthma as a baby and Mom found that a little warm coffee in my bottle helped clear my chest. The heat, caffeine and other stuff in coffee opened up my alveoli (?fucking spelling) and calm my lungs so that I had fewer asthma attacks.

You would think that drinking coffee from such a young age would have made me a caffeine junkie, but just the opposite. My asthma cleared up at about age 5 and I turned into a normal kid with a healthy appreciation of pepsi and juice and all sorts of other stuff.

When I got to be around 19 I was drinking quite a lot of coffee to keep me going at my very busy job. Then one day I had a grande mocha something or other with 4 sugars and nearly blew my mind. Since then I stay away from caffeine most of the time. Not T-total or anything but I prefer decaf coffee and soda. I'm not really a preachy type, but I do feel a little bit sorry for those people who NEED their first cup of coffee in the morning to get them going.

Nowadays I only drink coffee for the taste, and like I said before usually decaf.

P.S. Apologies...I've read thru this post and it seems a bit muddled. Its probably because I'm missing the one thing I AM addicted to...SLEEP!!!
