You're right I didn't account for the sponsor CTR. Plus lets factor in all the other bullshit. Non-targeted traffic (at 500k uniques you're bound to be untargeted at some point). Seeing as porn viewing happens mostly during work hours lets factor in click offs and random shutdowns. The human factor lol.
You'd need atleast 1/4 extra traffic just to make up non-interested parties.
I still think its doable with a big enough niche (notice I said niche not random porn) and TARGETED traffic. Strictly with PPS if the payout was $35 or above.
If you're an IwantU affiliate look at the top sponsor every month. He does like 90k a month clearly PPS at $35. No idea how he does it but its doable.Comment

That affiliate is actually on 70% Revshare, not PPS. Revshare always makes more in the long-run then any of our other programs, we obviously set them at less money than we make from one average paying member (we're not in the business to lose money
)
If you tracked their progress the first few months they made about 10K, then 25K, then 50K, then 70K, then ~100K...would keep going up if they didn't have some issues keeping their traffic steady

You really can't even base it by how many joins an affiliate sends to a program. Remember that they've probably paid a shitload in buying traffic, adwords, etc. in order to get those joins. I'm sure there are a handful of affiliates making $1mil in actual income a year doing just adult, but I'd bet it's not many. 6 figures is a very easily obtainable mark - 7 figures, notsomuch.Comment
