The Prestige. Fucking great movie!
Watched The Prestige last night on DVD. What a fucking great movie. Never saw the twist coming.
Anyone else seen this film? Stars Michael Caine, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson and Christian Bale. ![]() |

Yes, I really enjoyed the movie.
There are so many story's. Even the last bit of text tells a story. Christian Bale is one of my favorite. |

Saw it in the theater too and I was amazed. It's sure is one of the best movies I've seen in a while, and I watch quite a few.

Just finished watching The Illusionist. Excellent but the fake German/Austrian/Hungarian style accents really annoyed.

Strange how the Illusionist and The Prestige came out very close to each other. Both period dramas, both the same topic. But ones a thriller, the other a love story. Both well made, both got good twists.
I watched them over two nights and though I preferred The Prestige (well it has Michael Caine in it) I thought the Illusionist was well worth watching as well. |
