wonder how much return their "red bull gives you wings" ads are giving them...LOL...it has to be one of the worst ad campaigns in the last 10 years for sure

In the late '90s early 2000's they were doubling sales every year, I'm sure they're still doing quite well. I drink a Diet Red Bull every morning for a snack.

Try a Rockstar Zero Carb.

Chug that baby and you'll fall in love, lol.

I used to be hooked on the monster monster drinks. They don't compare to the rockstar zero carb ;)

NoWhErE 01-31-2007 09:45 PM

Why anyone would purposely put that crap into their body is beyond me...

This happened to me last Sunday. I'm a Red Bull junkie and drink it like it's water. I was making myself lunch Sunday afternoon when I looked at my wife and said "I'm suddenly tired". I went to sit down and barely made it to the couch. I passed out cold for a few mintues and when I came back I had no enegry whatsoever.

DaddyHalbucks 01-31-2007 09:48 PM

That shit is scary. People drink way too much of it.

TG Rebecca 01-31-2007 09:49 PM

i have never drank just plain old redbull. love jager bombs, though! :)

No walmart carries the same normal redbull. A chain called Aldis carries a brand called Red Thunder which IS redbull, just under a diff name. Same size can etc. Just diff label. I buy 4 cans for 2.49. I bought 48 cans a few weeks ago. Down to about half left now.

Why not increase intake volumes? I makes sense to the bottom line.
Just like reports you hear about cigarette companies upping nicotine doses.
It's just proper, that way.

They have a huge market share. I don't go to bars that often, anymore, but I'm still waiting to see a redbull + "alcohol" drink not on a write board.

tony286 01-31-2007 10:10 PM

man the amount you people drink of this stuff Im not surprised someones heart hasnt exploded. lol

illeana 01-31-2007 10:45 PM

love the stuff I used to go thru a 4 pack a day now i'm down to 2

Vitasoy 01-31-2007 11:11 PM

About time.. now I would need to go through so many cans

Sly 01-31-2007 11:13 PM

Has anyone said how big the new ones are? I'm guessing 12? I like 8, its a perfect size for a snack.

EBORG9 01-31-2007 11:26 PM

When I was in the Bar Business, Red Bull reps were the worst to deal with.
Very cocky, and they wouldn't call you back. Most bars went to Monster, or some other energy drink just because of it.
The shit is way over priced, all they did is build a brand that now every one calls, an "Energy Drink" Red Bull, like Anhesive Bandages are all called "Band Aids"

I drink 2-3 cans of redbull a day to keep me going, and on nights i go out i also have 3-6 yager bombs..

The only problems i ever have is when i decide to drink at home with grey goose and redbull.. I sometimes drink 10-12 of them and the next morning i sometimes feel like i'm having a heart attack.. But then again I've had the same felling from one can of the energy drink called Cocaine..

I don't like any other energy drinks and I doubt if I'll go to the bigger cans cause i find 2-3 spread out works best for me with other drinks like gaterade, mountain dew, and other shit mixed in the day

it isn't as packed with energy as some think, yes it gives you a nice boost, but I can drink 4-5 of them in a row without feeling any effects...I also drink 2-3 monsters a day because it is my favorite soda

red bull is gross to me lately though, after trying all the new energy drinks out there

cool1 02-01-2007 07:38 AM

So deos this bigger can have any more of the good stuff in it or just more fluid?

sltr 02-01-2007 09:23 AM

red bull as a company/product is absolutely fascinating, in part. it's marketing and distribution channels

quote/

Mateschitz’s secret to creating a $1.6 billion worldwide stampede for Red Bull lies in a highly ingenious “buzz-marketing” strategy that herds consumers to exclusive and exciting events that get high media coverage. Red Bull supports close to 500 world-class extreme sports athletes that compete in spectacular and often record-breaking events across the globe. Mateschitz explains, “We don’t bring the product to the consumer, we bring consumers to the product.”

sltr 02-01-2007 09:25 AM

not to mention it's viral spread through sub-cultures such as raves and nightlife, prolly can't even measure that but it's huge, i'd imagine

jaffie 02-01-2007 09:37 AM

Red Bull small can<3 =x

Mr. Romance 02-01-2007 09:48 AM

They want to move more product. Tabasco hot sauce increased there sales by just making the hole in the bottle bigger. I head this years ago, not sure if it is true, but it makes sense

I read recently that one can of Red Bull is no different than one or two cups of coffee. And what coffee drinker only drinks one cup? Every one I know drinks a pot at least.

tehHinjew 02-01-2007 11:38 AM

you know what that means right? more vodka for me
well in the redbull
