A few years ago, there was footage released from a Carnival where they had a similar setup. The guy was stretched back, then launched.

But I guess they hadn't setup the harness correctley, cause he wasn't attached to the bungee cord anymore and just went flying 200 feet into the air and landed somewhere in the parking lot.

You'd think they would have learned after that incident.
