Fill up some pots with boiling water and put them around your room (with lids on). you'll have to change the water every hour, but this method is ridiculously effective at raising your room temperature.

It's fucken terrible. Cold as hell! I can't even stand to go outside. It seems like it's freezing!! This is very cold for California! I had to buy a new thick winter coat just to stand it.
