          I wish the big companies would also go after the USERS (uploaders) of rapidshare, megaupload and all other medias that are used to distribute copyrighted material. If some assmonkey shares episodes of TV shows, they should go after him. Just my

              Suppose GFY members are far less likely to post copyrighted material - at least not with the intention of causing a copyright holder damage.

              Subpoenas are like confetti - prob more relevent is the jurisdiction which will uphold it - and would think both parties, 20th Century and Google/YouTube have no problem over jurisdictional issues and, who knows, but a court would enforce it. It's prob going to be hard to claim privacy issues when international copyright laws are being violated.
