    Two Monitors Hooked up to one video card...... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm DYING!!!!!

    I have an ATI Radeon 850XT (pci-e) With a Vga, DVI Port on the back....

    have the primary hooked up VGA, trying to hook up a secondary DVI......

    NO INPUT SIGNAL ON THE DVI MONITOR!! cant get nothing to show up.....click extend windows desktop to this monitor and nothing happens!!


    please help, very frustration.....have the new catalyst drivers in..

      Does the software show the second monitor? (ie, then you go into the catalyst control panel, do you have two monitors or just one?)

        It show's two monitors.....i can click it and when i do click extend desktop to this monitor, the primary monitor blinks and then the box goes unchecked.......

                    Front of your monitor either under the menu button, or a button by itself will have a button probably a little arrow inside a square. Push it and you'll see ANALOG, or DIGITAL light up on the screen.

                        dump that card and get a dual dvi out card

                        even when u get the vga monitor to show, it will be of lesser quality than the one its sitting next to

                          when i push the button i have the option of RGB and DVI when i choose DVI it says "no input signal"

                              Are you using a a DVI to analog converter? Or is your second monitor DVI compatible?
