To use our Vice President's words, it's hogwash. There are quited a few examples of women being successful in the Middle East and in islamic nations.

Ever heard of Golda Meir, or Benazir Bhutto, the President of Pakistan, who, to this day is admired by the people? Ever heard of Indira Ghandi? India has 37 million muslims.

Talking about tough? Remember the Iron Lady, Maggy Thatcher of Britain? Got re-elected too. Even Merkel of Germany may be bland but obviously isn't doing a bad job.

Melina Mercouri once said, if a bad male actor (Reagan) can become president in the USA why should a good female actor (she) not be allowed to become Foreign Minister in Greece?

Too bad that only in the land of the free, where all men (?) are created equal, a woman never became President, so far.

I'll wait to see who's actually running. This speculation is a moot point. I wish the Dems would actually play the game like they want to win (see GOP), get some real strategies and not wait until the last one standing is the one who was least damaged by swiftboat attacks and dirty play.

I loved Bill, but not loving Hillary's stance on several issues.
