Doug Stanhope does an incredible stand up freeform act that's sure to offend anyone. Doug was telling me his thoughts on Dane Cook's act, but we were so drunk I don't remember much about what he said.

there is a new guy named Dmitri Martin that is getting a lot of time on XM Radio thats extremely funny. if you like Mitch Hedberg, you will like him.

Dane Cook has a lot of good stand up stuff. Its kinda hit and miss i think. He is like Robin Williams in that he doesn't really prepare a lot of material and write jokes... he just starts with ideas and starts telling all these long winded stories and it can be dissapointing when they start sucking. I like a lot of his standup stuff... but I never really could watch the HBO stuff. Also, its a little more tame and not as raw as the normal standup.

Maybe he was just "on" that night. Every comic on that show was good. Everyone on that show kicked ass, though I might have to say he was the best and I went in thinking I wouldn't like it either.

He won me over.

I had my laughs with him, but I think he's getting a little repetitive, always the same kind of humor

he rarely says anything funny, but what catches peoples attention is the way he prances around stage like a screaming fairy on crack and redbull.

he's funny as hell - one of the best if not the best of the comics out right now - it's f'ing amazing to me how many comedians are still doing the same gender/racial schtick they've been doing since the 70s - it's sooooo boring - Dane Cook actually is original and rants on really funny and out-there topics - you never know where he's gonna go with it - funny mofo :thumbsup
