Just wanted to let everyone know I haven't kicked the bucket. My blood pressure isn't exactly under control, it' still hitting dangerous levels but I started a new medication yesterday so I'm hoping. My vision's pretty screwed up; I can't say if it's gotten better or worse since I was released from the hospital. It comes and goes. I can still read, so I guess it's probably about the same.

I don't mind making it easier to read, I will make it my default font size whenever I post, so no matter what thread you go in, if I was there, you can read it.

dagwolf.. you might invest in a 2nd monitor if you dont already have one, just a cheap large CRT.. like a 21". something with a very favorable dpi (lower is better)
then you can run everything on this monitor, then drag the "magnifier" window to the other monitor.. and enlarge it out.. so it'll follow your mouse around for ease of reading254342256Comment

Gawd no, I tried that thing and it made me seasick. Besides, blurring isn't that much of a problem; it's more like "low contrast". Plus my peripheral vision is gone, and there are spots where I can't see at all.
I also have trouble adjusting to sudden changes in light.
In spite of all that, though, reading normal fonts isn't much of a problem if the contrast is good.
