Stolen Phone...
I was out today enrolling in a college and some fucker stole my phone.... The fucker is still stupid enough to be using up the call credits. Anyone know of a way I can track it down, say like some sort of tracking software that is free?

Is that Collingwood in Victoria, Australia? The best you can probably do is to get the IMEI blocked so that the phone cannot be used in the future. You may be able to get your carrier to give you the location of where calls originated from but that will only refer to the base station location.
If you're not in Vic AU then the above probably still applies, assuming it was a GSM phone. |

Wait till you get your bill and see who he called and who called him. Then make some phone calls of your own.

One of my rellies left behind a phone once... they rang it and the kid that answered offered to return it for $50. He had also made a "few" phone calls in the meantime.
At least she got her phone back. |

thanks for the advice, and yes, Collingwood vic. Australia, and thats the very thing which limits me from being able to track the phone...
I just got the phone blocked and rendered useless, and in doing that, was able to work out getting a new phone. |

no way you can trace a prepaid until the phone company gives you the call details. its just not worth the effort. similar thing happened to me. even the cops dont care.

yeah get the IMEI blocked, they can trace calls here but I doubt theyd do that for a stolen phone, worth calling the police though
