Anyone living in Makati, Philippines?

I have a worker living in Makati. Haven't heard from him in a couple days, which is very strange. Last week he mentioned the power was having downage or something.

Anybody in the area experiencing rolling power over the past few days? Or the Makati area? Sorry, obviously I'm not real familiar with the area and don't know the surrounding cities.

Was there another tsunami this week?

Makati is the business capital area here in the Philippines, though there are also some residential places too. I have many friends that lives in different parts of Makati and have'nt experienced some power shortage.

The thing we are currently experiencing here is the downtime of Internet Connections from some various Internet Service Provider Companies, because of the previously earthquake that hitted Taiwan.

Hit me up on ICQ if you wanted to ask other things realted into that matter. more power

Oh, I bet thats it. Cable gives him a lot of trouble too.

Thanks. When was the earthquake again? I talked to him most recently Sunday, which is actually Monday in the Philippines. Sounds about right for timing.

the earthquake happend last year December 26, 2006 (http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200612281228232.html), but til now some of the Internet Service Providers Companies here are having quite difficulty resolving that case.

Internet connection is always a problem there. It's God's way of giving the cam girls a day off.
