You have two choices here in my opinion.

Either put it all on black as many have suggested.

Or head to the bar, put in 5 bucks at a time on the poker machine and get smashed on free liquor. Will cost you about $8 with tips and losses but you can get atleast $50 worth of drinks each time (depending how slow you play and how fast you drink). Do this throughout the trip and you'll be too drunk to do anything else with the money.

I've never been to veags before, but say you goto a decent club or show what are you expecting to spend to get in etc? I mean whats a bottle of beer or captain/coke cost? I'm not talking about buying bottles of cristal or anything.

You guys make it sound like the money paid in Vegas (i.e Vegas lifestyle prices) are worth it compared to top capitals of the world, I mean its like if you guys are proud everything costs an arm and leg in it...

Tao has an $88 "Grilled Kobe Ribeye with Yuzu Cilantro Butter" - definitely putting that on the list!

To clarify again - I'm just looking for one event, that we can all have a good time, and I want to spend around 1300 on it. This is completely seperate from the rest of our trip. Putting it all on black or splitting it up isn't going to be much fun for the group, but thanks for the suggestions :D

i would go see david copperfield like boyalley said, i went and saw him at mgm in december and he was really good. it will run you about $100 a person, not sure if they do a group discount.

i hope you have more than that. in vegas a burger costs 60 bucks. i'm not even lyin. drinks at a club 15 bucks each. taxi to anywhere roughly 20. where you staying and what do you plan on doin?

i'm not saying that cuz i am a big baller or anything, i'm a cheapskate most of the time, but vegas is crazy expensive. you can do it though, just not in a major way.

I'm not trying to budget an entire trip around $1300 - just one event. Dinner, show, something like that.

Not every place in Vegas is expensive. Vegas can actually be one of the cheapest vacations you can have. It depends how you roll and how picky you are.

Hotels for under $100 a night. Very affordable HUGE buffets. Penny slots. Free and cheap shows. *GASP* They even have a McDonald's dollar menu.

Vegas is a blast on any budget.

That sounds like a challenge, I am not farmilliar with the territory, but I would imagine it could be done! The last thing you want to do is shout them a feed at macca's, but Sizzlers might be a little more impressive!

$60 for burgers? im sure 90% of the resturants on the strip in vegas are under $15 for a burger.

You people need to read what he is saying, he says he is looking for 1 event to blow the 1300 on(food, show etc) the money has nothing to do with what they have with them in private spending money.

That's the main focus of the trip, of course. I'm really leaning towards a nice restaurant where we can eat extremely well and go over the budget on $18 cosmos or something :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Stay in a place off the strip and find cheap buffets.... if that's 1300 after travel you can have fun, just not for too long

I only stay at bellagio, the mirage or the wynn but thats pricey

it's 1300 aside from everything. I'm staying for a couple days, and bringing a couple grand aside from that 1300. I don't know what everyone else is bringing, but it is separate from the 1300.

In retrospect, I was probably drinking when I posted this, and I could have worded the whole thing different.
