been trying in adult for 7 months. What revenue/sales should I have/aiming for?

Hello I have been properly trying in adult for about 7 months now . I wont post any of my stats or anything like that.

But how many sales a day should someone who has been in as long as me have. and what type of revenue if you include rebills.

Where were you 7 months down the line?

Your opinions?

Thanks in advance

you should be easily doing 5-6k/month, if you don't break 10k/month within a year you are doing something seriously wrong...

And dont believe everything that you read on this board.

It really has nothing to do with what you should be making, it has to do with what you WANT to make.

it takes a few months to get a hang of it, and to get it rolling, but it's not rocket science... and of course you have to work for it, you can't just spend 10 hours/day hanging out on gfy, and hope to make 5-6k within 7 months...

There are too many variables here chief.

One blanket answer will simply not do.

It depends on how much work you are truely doing.. 8, 10, 12 hours a day. And posting on here doesn't count.

Also what you are doing.. tgp, paysites, etc.

From there, it's a formula, but I would say if you are putting in at MINIMUM 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, you should be making at least a few grand.

If youre an affiliate - dont rely on recurring sales - most programs dont re-bill very long.

Try and build more sites, more seo, more affiliate programs (join them).

Perhaps the biggest single bit of advice tho having said the above - would be to NOT rely long term on SEO - get yourself some serious bookmarks.

IE - build a serious site.

I think that if you are doing stuff like TGP work/other grunt type work solid, in seven months in reality these days clearing $50-75 a day is not too bad. However it is speculate to accumulate and the trick is knowing were to invest your money. When you hit $100 a day it seems to snowball, then you need to up your targets to 150, 200 and so on and aim for consistency.

Oh and post a lot less.

What kind of question is this? Without knowing how much startup cash you had to invest no one can even come close to giving you a correct answer.

That's like saying walk through a casino. People are hitting jackpots all over the place. It's true, but you don't notice the many more people who aren't.

Most people make much less than $10k per month after their first year...

Very Wrong. I make way more with recurring rev shares and I promote both. Pick the right program.

the first year i only tried submitting galleries on free hosts. Extremely lazy, being a follower by submitting and being a cheap fuck with the worthless free hosting made me absolutely nothing the first year.
Fuck am i glad i dont submit galleries anymore, i hated it.

Why would I be kidding? so you are saying that after 7 whole months of working full time at this, one should expect to build a business that makes only $1500/month?

Why would anyone even bother? Even if you have only basic web/html/etc knowledge you would earn much more than that working a normal mainstream job....

Take a look at your average daily sales for the last two months. Bump that up by 50% and make that your goal. Once you consistently reach that goal on a daily basis increase the goal by another 50%. Keep doing this over and over. Setting a goal that is too hard to attain is pointless. Build the foundation and work on from there. And do NOT come to GFY until you have reached your daily goal.

How much you make has nothing to do with how long you've been doing it. It's all about how much time and effort you put in.

I know you hate to hear it, but if you had spent half the time you post working instead, you'd be making more.

who said full time?

scotty definitely doesn't work full time and many people aren't

and seriously, one should aim for passive income, not working 10 hours per day. But if you have programming skills (or any other) and you can put them to use with SEO etc and make great returns on it, then it's indeed worth working full time - 8-12 hours daily. But that should require a very substantial income to make it worth.

Because one of the greatest things in this biz is freedom. Sure, money = freedom, but not if you work 10 hours daily.

The best is when you wake up and you don't even have to turn on the PC on a particular day (or - ideally - for the next week) with no loss to your income... That can be achieved by having typ3in domains, earning money with webmaster referrals or doing PPC SE's.....

In 2007 I should concentrate more on PPC SE's.... (unless I buy a two good domains soon and then get lazy for the next 10 months lol) but Adwords is a bitch to work with....

Oh and I should get a text tgp with solid bookmakers perhaps too. Anyone selling anything?

A sign that you are on the right track is that you keep making more money per day. If you are making $x/day ask yourself what it would take to double your operation. Is it possible to quadruple it? What are the limitations? If you can't, what else can you do? Where will your growth come from?

10k a month can't pay the bills on a mortgage, cars, insurance, etc...

You need to be making at least 20k a month to be comfortable.

Put down the bong, and back away from the computer.

This is the most ridiculous shit I've read in awhile. If you can't make it on $10ka month, you need to move, or stop a drug habit.

just get one more sale than the previous month, every month. at least if there's an increase every month you know you're headed in the right direction.

Perhaps the biggest single bit of advice tho having said the above - would be to NOT rely long term on SEO - get yourself some serious bookmarks.

IE - build a serious site.

if it wasnt for rebills one of my sponsors yesterday would have been shit only 2 sales but I had 12 rebills

rebills always save the day

this should highly depend on your skill set upon entry to this business...

I'm making twice that, in about 4 months now. Not to 'show off' but it is possible.

This is the most ridiculous shit I've read in awhile. If you can't make it on $10ka month, you need to move, or stop a drug habit.

You are making $10k a month after being in the biz about 4 months?

I work a bit less on weekends to keep a sane mind. But during the week probably between 10-12 hour days.

A little over 12 if you average it out - and I'm still not happy with that. It's more like 3 months since I wasted my first month or so with cam sponsors and a couple sites, but I still learned alot.

I'm not new to the net. I've been making websites and whatnot since I was 12 - so going on 11 years.
