Barak won't get the nod. He's just there to be a cheerleader for the Democrats. Parties like to get candidates out there who can help spread the party message. Barak can do that, but he can't be president. He'll step down late in the primaries.

I could see him possibly going for vice president. I think Al Gore is the main factor here. If he runs, then the game plans for a lot of people change.

That depends on how involved Bill Clinton is. If America views this as a backdoor for Bill Clinton to be president again, then yes, they would slam anyone the Republicans put up.

But I think if Bill stands back and just lets Hillary do her thing then it will be difficult for Hillary to beat John McCain if that's who the Republicans run.

My money is still on Al Gore running in 08. It's going to be Gore/Hillary or Gore/Obama. I think that comes down to how nasty Gore vs. Hillary gets in the primaries.

McCain I don't think has a chance. He doesn't have the charisma factor that allows him to stand up and make the speeches that truly make a difference. He is effectively a republican Mike Dukakis, nice guy but with all the charisma of stale cheese.

Both Hillary and Obama have the ability to make speeches that make people notice, make people care, and make people related and agree. That is a huge part of the process of getting elected.
