				Emailing advice needed. (not spam)

I have a brick and mortar client who wants to start sending out a mailing to his customers who sign up in store. He will have their signature and info on a handwritten card. The list will be small, starting at about 450 people.

I would appreciate any recommendations on software solutions. Should I setup Dada Mail or similar server product for this or pick up an off the shelf product. I think a monthly subscription service would be overkill for his needs. Any help would be great. I want to get this setup this weekend. Thank you!

I've used monthly subscription services for my autoresponder to customers online. But if it's a B&M and you're not expecting to add that many each month, I'd recommend the way I did it before which is good ol Excel spreadsheets. Might be a little annoying at the 450 starting but after that it's pretty easy. It all depends on how often you need it. I really haven't looked for any offline products so I can't help there.

		 Thanks for the feedback.

Well, the customer data is entered into Excel so are you saying taking that db and running it through Outlook? Sorry this area is new to me. If that is doable then it would be a possible solution to start because the list really won't be growing by leaps and bounds. Any other advice from anyone?
