btw orange cream sounds so good. anything like orange cream soda?

A lot like orange cream soda or if you can remember those 50/50 bars ice cream trucks used to have way back when.

Hint if you pick one up, also grab some heavy cream, half and half, or at least whole milk. Keep that on hand, and maybe eggs depending on the type you wish to make. I am sort of a nut so I keep 2 drums for my ice cream maker in the freezer at all times. Since each drum is only good for about 2 uses before you must freeze it again for another day. I never make huge batches, just a few small batches of any given flavor.

It is super simple. Seriously the for dummies book would be about a page long with illustrations. Once you learn the two base recipes, the rest is just playing with what you like.

Every maker will come with a small booklet. It will cover the basic custard mix, the only dairy mix, sorbets sherbet mix.
You can hit me up when time comes if ya like.

Though I would just say to do the following.
Fresh ingredients whenever possible.
Vanilla pods over vanilla extract. Never use artificial no matter what.
Remember that the liquid form should be sweeter than you think you like it, since that sweetness reduces once frozen.
Experiment.

HA! That is sooo funny because I stopped at your "butter pecan" post and thought how good THAT sounded!

We would make a great ice cream team!
