Damn, the babe pharmacist knew where I was coming from. I've got a sore throat and a dry cough that would wake the dead.
"I want something to knock me out as it's a bitch to sleep" I said. She gave me "Peter's ethylmorphine" 0.049% ethylmorphine 45.3% alcohol. 2-3 soup spoons every 6 hours. Ah, tonight is going to be sweeeeet

I always buy codiene cough syrup when I am in Maine. You can get it OTC there. 1 bottle a day by law. I horde it for when I get my annual non-productive cough. It really saved my bacon after 9/11 too. That cough sucked.
