You elected your government, and asylum policy is part of what you voted for.

It would help if you looked beyond your small scope of scottishness. As far as I'm concerned, the 'crisis' you mention is only perceptive. Immigration is of all times, only fossils would try to stop it. This is how things go, and whether the immigrants you 'hate' so much add to the economic development of your country will prove to be of minor importance on the longer timescale. Your society will need to adapt. It also shows ignorance and a total lack of insight, to talk of non-western immigrants as one group. "What good have muslims done?" Man, go and get a clue!

Regading all the hatred, 'terrorism' etc: there's a constant battle of ideas and interests going on in the world, from all sides and in all kinds of ways. Your view is not the only one.

Has anyone also noticed how this 'peaceful majority' doesn't try to refute the ideology of the 'extremist minority'? Has anyone noticed that it is exceptionally rare that one of the 'peaceful majority' tries to root out the 'extremists' in their midst? Does anyone know why this is? (I know, but I want to know if anyone else does - here's a clue - good cop, bad cop).

mastgul Confirmed User Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 117	living in aus i agree with aus people that this guy is a basket case a total banana.. why do we tolerate him i have absolutely no idea. but letting one man ruin the view of a whole community would be wrong and naive, and would be pretty much playing in to his hands and creating a divide. i know many muslims moderate and not so moderate. even they disagree with the sheikh and want him out. i wish some one would slip some drugs in his bag and send him to Indonesia on a holiday...
