I actually wanted my son to have a manual when he turned 16 BECAUSE it makes you pay more attention to driving. But I got too sweet a deal on an automatic Maxima to pass it up
When I was taking classes on campus Tonda always seemed to call me when I was driving the Wrangler with manual AND pulling up to Wendy's so I had to shift, talk (no bluetooth - well, I have it but I can't find the headset), AND manually roll down the window. THAT'S agility
learn to multitask. you have a cup holder or between you legs for your beer, a shoulder and ear for you phone, a knee for steering if you need and a hand to make the shifts. That still leavs an extra hand to do whtever you want. Oh i forgort the smoke...that goes in your mouth. if slash can play guitar and smoke and chad smith can play the drums and smoke, etc. then I'm sure you can drive and smoke too.
