Just pay someone to do it for you, then it will be done right.

I started about 10 blogs at the same time (sometime last year) - 2 of them on Wordpress and the rest using blog organizer - and they get more or less the same amount of SE traffic so I don't think that every post on separate page makes much of a difference

as for the templates - you could be right there since I only modify the default template(s)

Guys if I am setting up WP , how many blogs can I setup per IP. I have read in few places where it says max 50 sites per IP when it comes to SE indexing.

Does it matter ?

you will read something different everywhere you look, fact is that is something you will just have to do some trial and error on and draw your own conclusions

I can tell you that I have well over 200 blogs on some of my ip's and am not experiencing any troubles being indexed

here is the best features of the Blog Mass Installer

Create Wordpress blogs on your domain, no captchas, press execute and the software builds all of the blogs one at a time.

One Time installation creates unlimited blogs across domains

Randomize wordpress themes across your network. Add your own themes, delete themes

Installs and sets up wordpress with permalinks, active plugins, and deleted blog roll.

Flexible configurations ... allow you to create all wordpress blogs within one database or you can optionally create 1 or a few databases per blog batch. Using one database will save server resources rather than have 100 mysql databases on 1 domain

Add your own wordpress plugins to be uploaded and activated

Automatically removes first post ("Hello World!") in wordpress

Automatically removes blogroll links from wordpress

Automatically configures permalinks in wordpress

looks good man.. does autoblogger pro has these features as well? not sure. i haven't use it yet... you are using R2BMI Pro? that looks better

Autoblogger Pro isn't for installing blogs -- there are a ton of free tools for that -- so I'd say ANY product is vastly better suited to that task at the present time. :2 cents:

What ABPSA does is this:

what I basically do is log in and manage all the blogs form one place - post, edit posts, add/remove feeds, add links, and so on...

absolutely brilliant and very easy to use !!!!

oh, here's the link btw:

I love BO :thumbsup

There are a lot of variables that would determine how many different domains you would want to put on 1 IP, such as: the server specs, the theme of each individual blog, and cross linking hopes/intentions.

Sosa 01-18-2007 12:40 PM

Hey Baddog, I'll try to msg you today, if not tomorrow hopefully to talk to you about server specs etc and what you think the best plan would be.

like edgeprod said, it doesn't...BUT...R2BMI does give you a nice neat list of blogs it installed, so using that and then hand copy/pasting the details into ABP wouldn't be all that difficult, it would just take a few minutes depending on the amount of blogs you installed

Or we can just write an importer .... *shrug*

SinisterStudios 01-19-2007 10:56 AM

I have been looking for sometime for a system that will allow you to dump in hundreds or thousands of domains, dump in rss feeds, dump in ip's to use, and that will spit out thousands of blogs on seperate domains and seperate ip's. But there is nothing out there thats even comes close to what i need. We had a custom one written that im testing now, but if anyone know of anything that would do this im all ears.

~Ray 04-23-2009 05:43 PM

create 5 per day by hand.. take weekends off. That's about 100 blogs a month made right. :)

~Ray

Rui 04-23-2009 05:58 PM

For those doing multiple installs without any sort of script/cronjob/whatever to manage the whole thing you are bound to have hundreds of screwed (aka - hacked, defaced,etc..) overtime

papill0n 04-23-2009 06:01 PM

That'd be a great way to do it, if I didn't have a full-time job with my "real" stuff...and a one year old daughter :winkwink:
