I appreciate that dating sites that have *millions of members* often would comprise of large amounts of free members but still paid members wise, they piss all over a successful adult site?

somewhat accurate, I think "blows away" depends on which dating site you are comparing to which paysite.

Ok lets talk major differences, I am familiar with both.

From a surfers standpoint a few things can happen with a dating site:

A) he/she joins figures out all spam ads never comes back again
B) he/she joins talks to one or two people comes back a few months later sees someone new they like they rejoin
C) he/she joins huge amount of action and back and forth communication with real people they stay members (usually mainstream sites who have 25mil + to invest in ads to get real females have those sites)

From a surfers standpoint a few things they do when joining adult content sites:

A) he/she joins because they saw a set(s) in a gallery or tour they liked the join they don’t find that set or its just a few pics they cancel and never come back
B) he/she joins because of a gallery or set on the tour they liked they find it in the members area but there is only a small % of the members area they like and they cancel
C) He/she notices you do content updates, they like your site movie type, teens, anal whatever, they keep on checking back on the update page they find a new update that once again they like they rejoin
D) You overwhelm them with huge amount of content and they are comfortable that most updates will be things they will enjoy and they stay members

The above don’t matter if you fuck them with some bullshit billing scam or popups or whatever then you can have whatever content you want or whatever dating site you have and it won’t be beneficial long term

My point is most people who made real money in this business made it from long term thinking vs. short term thinking.

Huge variables obviously...
A dealership selling a million cheap £7 k cars or a specialist selling a thousand cars each of which is several hundred thousand pounds.

The point being is that the pricing structure of a paysite is pretty close to large well known dating sites.

Sure, I`m just referring to the numbers game.
I know very little about dating sites (unlike you) and don`t know the ratios of free to paid members on some of the very large sites. And yes the type of members are very different no doubt what with the guy who is looking for some decent porn next to the dating site member who is looking for love or some one nighters.
