Yep. I noticed that shit. Clever way to get around duplicate content detectors at the email server level. I wouldn't be surprised if the body is hotswapped on the fly as well (in addition to being sourced from differing sources). The only thing constant is that .gif of the stock performance and stock symbol.

Stock tips and DRM emails

I'm getting so many stock tip emails with nightly news subject lines that it makes me fond of the days when all I got were penis launcher and viagra emails

yup, and they're all using the captcha image scripts to beat filters.

yes, I have been getting about 20+ a day for the last 6 months. It's very annoying.

i was getting a few hundred a day, but i have a shitload of email addies..

about a month or two ago i set my filter to bounce anything with a .gif file (getting hundreds of those) and as far as the stock tip spam i filter/bounce all of the usual terms this spammer uses.. i.e.:
"Symbol:"
"3 Day Target"
"Status: Strong Investment"
"3 Day Estimate"

and about a dozen others...

yep getting the crap like 20 emails/ day for about 6 months
