Im not American. I find it funny. I think we have this impression of stupid Americans because your President is a retard. The most powerfull man in your country (and the world) and there is so much material of him saying things that make him look thick.

Most Americans arnt stupid. There is a higher % of people in the USA who cant answer simple questions about the rest of the world. Thats because American media is so focussed on the USA that all they hear about is the states, so its not surprising that they dont know much about the world they live in. Most Americans never even leave the US. Most goods in the States are American. There far removed from Europe and the rest of the world in so many ways.

With the question "think of a country begining with the letter U", its actually natural not to think of your own country. I thought of Ukraine, not my own country United Kingdom. Because you imediatly start thinking about other countries.

Also, ask enough people these questions and you will get stupid answers. Now show us the material they didnt use.

The thing with this video though, is not that Americans are thick, but that the rest of the world is ready to believe that they are. For the reason why, you need to look at whos in the White House and the thick things he says.

And if you go in any other country in the world, and do the same type of interview to the same amount of people, definately you will get the same answers.Hell, if you come to my country the answers will be the same, does that mean that everyone is stupid?! You are right but I personally think U.S. has more of those idiots than any other country then again, sure does have very smart people as well (it's own and the bought ones from other countries) otherwise, U.S. wouldn't be the #1 country in the world today. I'd like to see a videographer asking these questions on Havard or any other univ campus see if it yeilds the same results.
