Am I the only one that gets entirely annoyed at the new set of commercials acting like pc's are ibm pentium 2's that are only used in an accounting office? Ive said this over and over, there is TONS a mac cant do that a pc can, there is nothing a mac can do that a pc cant. End of discussion.

You say this a lot, but it's completely untrue. Seeing that a Mac can run Windows, it can do anything and everything a PC can do. Seeing that a PC can't "really" run OSX just yet, that's one thing a Mac can do that a PC can't.

Simple as that. End of discussion.

Yeah, but why would I want to run OSX on my PC?

It is just the ultimate in marketing, because there is nobody on the "PC" side of the fight to answer. So the Mac people can make 101 silly claims that can't be backed up, but because nobody is going to call them on it, they can go on peeing on the PCs like they are useless pieces of shit.

I edit video, I do graphics, I do programming, and I do web work, and I never once had to open a C++ GUI programming guide.

My computer doesn't go mental when I ask it to play music. It just plays it.

My computer doesn't have a fit if I want to edit a document, it just does it.

Any time I work on a Mac, I want to toss across the room because it is so freaking difficult to get anything done.

I know I'm not the only one who has NEVER had a full system crash or BSOD with XP. That excuse went out the door with like Win98. Those that do probably use shoddy parts or poorly written 3rd party programs.

I had a lot of trouble on one computer here with XP home (got the upgrade when it was first released for like $80), I ended up going back to 98SE for a while. After a few blue screens later I bought a copy of XP Pro, installed it... and bam, it ran like a dream. That same system runs for months at a time w/o instance with XP Pro and could barely get more than a day or two with 98SE. Got XP Pro on all my puters shortly after that and couldn't be happier, it's one of the main reasons I may end up skipping Vista -- it just seems so unnecessary compared to the 98-to-XP upgrade.

Mac, PC, Linux, whatever the fuck it is...

Use your tools, don't let your tools use you.

Apparently microsoft would like to run it, if you have run vista you will see how they have tried to make it very similar. I primarily use a PC, and have used a MacBook.

If your happy using a PC or a Mac, you can stick with whatever one you feel is working best for you
