What is it of your business if he is actually starving HIS own people ... Go feed the camps in Darfour .... in fact, feed your own first
If somebody is telling the World to
, it is your president.
As for threats, I prefer that to actual invasion and attacks on sovereign countries ...
Which country has NK attacked lately ....
You are pathetic.

Yahoo News
SEOUL (Reuters) - The United States is deploying a squadron of stealth fighters to South Korea, a U.S. military spokesman said on Wednesday, amid speculation that North Korea may be ready to test a second nuclear device.
The United States is sending about 15 to 20 of its F-117A Nighthawk fighters to South Korea, the spokesman for U.S. Forces Korea said.
"This is a routine deployment," said Kim Yong-kyu. "It is a regular operational matter.
The U.S. military has sent the radar-evading fighters regularly to South Korea for stays of a few months over the past few years. North Korea has criticized previous deployments as preparations for invasion and nuclear war.
Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, where the squadron is stationed, said in a Web posting that the fighters left earlier this week for South Korea.
About 250 to 300 airmen were sent to South Korea for previous deployments.
"This precision-strike aircraft penetrates high-threat airspace and uses laser-guided weapons against critical targets," the U.S. Air Force said in a Web posting.
North Korea conducted its first test of a nuclear device on October 9.
The U.S. television network ABC cited U.S. officials last week as saying North Korea was preparing for another test. However, both U.S. and South Korean officials have publicly said that there was no evidence a test was imminent.Herschel Savage

So you advocate intervention in Darfur?
Why do you rule out North Korea and Iraq? Do you only rule out countries where the US has major strategic interests and/ or that pose a threat to regional and world peace?

The Stealth Fighters are based about 60 miles up the road from me, all the stealth fighters will be moving to other bases in the very near future as their current home at Holloman AFB will soon be the home to the new F-22 Raptor

Nighthawks, airmen head to South Korea
Article Launched: 01/06/2007 12:00:00 AM MST
F-117A Nighthawks will be replaced by F-22s at Holloman Air Force Base, outside Alamogordo, but the old stealth fighters aren't going to be sent to the boneyard in the near future.
About 300 airmen and a squadron of Nighthawks will leave next week for the Republic of Korea on at least a four-month deployment. It will be the fourth time since 2003 that the 49th Fighter Wing has gone to the region, base officials said.
"This deployment is not related to a particular threat or event but part of an ongoing measure to maintain a credible deterrent posture and presence in the region and demonstrates the continued U.S. commitment towards fulfilling security responsibilities throughout the Western Pacific," according to a statement released by Holloman officials.Comment

again... routine deployment as has been going on for years... to a US air base in south korea that has existed since the end of the korean war. "war path" has nothing to do with it... but lets not let facts, reason and rational thinking get in the way of emotional rants.Comment

so now you have gone retarded to the point that you are trying to argue that the President makes every single operational decision for the Navy, Air Force, Marines and Army because he's President.

How about FDR, Kennedy, or Reagan.

you are correct..as the quote in my post above states..this is the 4th time in the last 3-4 years they have deployed to Korea..it's a regular thing they do.again... routine deployment as has been going on for years... to a US air base in south korea that has existed since the end of the korean war. You could have said the same thing about Germany on August 31, 1939 or about Japan on December 6, 1941 or about Al Qaeda on September 10, 2001.
If North Korea did something and we were unprepared, would you still support our strategy?Comment

9/ 11 was an attack. It shows the new nature of warfare.
Technology has changed things. If you wait, you get slaughtered.
Do you want us to wait for Kim Jong Il to nuke a South Korean city?
Should Israel wait until Iran nukes Tel Aviv?Comment

Yes, Mr AllwaysRight ... nice link and backup also ...
By going ahead with a troop increase, Bush is again proclaiming himself the "decider" as he tries to reassert his relevance after coming out on the losing end of a congressional power shift, analysts say.
http://today.reuters.co.uk/news/arti...-C12-Editors-2"I hear the voices and I read the front page and I know the speculation," the president said testily. "But I'm the decider and I decide what's best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the secretary of defense."
http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=1856539But since I think President Bush is The Decider, I think he is responsible for what happens on his watch. A war and many, many horrible deaths. Ignoring Darfur. Ignoring deficits and finances that will put insane tax burdens on our children. Ignoring the environment. Intentionally increasing the gap between rich and poor in our country. Not catching Osama bin Laden.
I don?t think The Decider-in-Chief takes responsibility for tough things in a grown-up, manly way that sets a good example.
And that's not really fair either. You can?t be "The Decider" just for the good stuff.

Democracies don't usually start wars. Generally, they are grounded in the rule of law.
Dictatorships usually do. They murder millions of people, and then they attack their neighbors. Examples: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Il, etc..Comment

The nature of warfare has changed - in a big way in the past five to ten years. In the future wars will no longer be country against country or govenment against govenment. Now instead we have groups of people with no government running their own armies.
I don't believe in the "if you wait you get slaughted" idea.
Kim Jong will never launch a nuke in SK. Depending on the size of the bomb, the first problem would be fallout. The second issue would be the follow up strike, most likely coming from the United States. It would destroy them.
Same with Iran. Imagine a nuke going off in Israel. Even if no one can point a finger directly at Iran, the follow up strikes would be quick and huge.
No matter what the US would strike back. We have boomer subs sitting off the coast waiting to press the damn button. It doesn't matter if a country is behind it or not; Once the first bomb goes off others will follow.
Russia knew this. They could destroy the US ten times over yet we would still be able to strike back.Herschel Savage
