I need some help setting up chameleon submitter, SMTP?
If you take a look at this video about the setup for cham sub, it tells you that you need to set up things related to IP address and SMTP, but I don't get it.
how do I know what goes into the fields under the "connection" tab? It has a checkbox for "use a proxy server" and then it has a box for "address" "your external IP address" "username" and "password". What the hell goes in these? I know, I'm a dumbass.

First try to keep "Use Proxy server" option unchecked. Direct connection works good most of time. Then click "Get" button under "External IP" field and it will be automatically filled in if your connection is working.
SMTP setting is provided by your mailbox administrator (or ISP). Look into outlook options what settings do you use there. |
