I had made some changes to some sites and set up some 404 stuff and discovered it was giving me a lot of false hits etc. due to favicon and other 404 errors caused by bots etc.. So I've set up a special 404 page to filter a bunch of shit and am also setting up htaccess to redirect into oblivion various bots etc.... anyone care to share their "perfect" set up for this stuff?
