    Movie editing

I am sure it was asked before, but I could not find anything in the archive for some reason, so...

What's the best program to edit movie clips?

    Thanks.

      Premiere sucks NASTY balls!

      I hate premiere!

What type of video are you editting?

      DV or analog?

IMHO if you have to stick to windows for editing Avid DV Xpress is the best you can get!

2 counts for the Premier, but can someone tell me why the hell do I lose the audio track when I try to cut a 1 minute MPEG file into 6 10 seconds clips? :-))

I'll admit that the learning curve is high for Premiere but it works extreeeemely well. It has the most 3rd party plug ins made for it as well. If you are just editing porn clips you can skip the learning curve and just use Virtual Dub.

I would suggest checking out Quicktimes new 6.0 pro player too. You can do a little bit of editing on there and you can convert your clips to mp4 files which should have universal playback support by next month. The files look incredible and the file sizes are smaller than you could ever imagine!!

You don't need Premiere for simple editing. Premiere is difficult to learn.
