bathroom reno - cheap cool shit

renovating the bathroom in my cottage.

not wanting to spend more than about $2K on material - got the labor free.

usuall shit - ceramic tile - granite sink countertop, oak woodwork, pressure valve plumbing...good prices on all it but the thing i liked the most was a curved shower curtain bar. hugly in crased the space in the shower - can't believe how much,

anyone got any other cheap sugestions to make a bathroom better?

Good exhaust fans that remove steam and odors. Make sure they vent properly or you are putting unwanted moisture in your house.

Sleazy offered me a sneak peek - it's certainly an improvement over the "rustic" look his bathroom used to have:

Heated towel rack, or maybe heated tiles (under floor heating) are nice in bathrooms.. mostly for the women though.
