Exactly. For example, if someone starts a thread, "Where can I buy XYZ content?" what are the content providers supposed to do, bite their tongues and wait for all the non-content providers to think about mentioning them.

The concept of not discussing business on a board consisting (supposedly) of people in the same business is bizarre.

The "drive by spam" is what most people resent.

However, there are still people (many of them Internet oldsters from way back before there was any business on the Internet, and when it was kind of a hippy-dippy thing) who want the Internet to be as business-free as possible. No longer possible.
