I do feel at times that I'm missing out on social interaction and mental stimulation through vocal conversation. There's only so much "lol how u doing" chat you can take on ICQ.
My wife is the only person that I speak with regularly.

Same here. Although it's my girlfriend and not your wife ;)

I can go for days without leaving the house, not even stepping outside. I have a friend who forces me to get out every once in awhile, usually just around town to do errands and such. My gym keeps calling asking me if they should terminate my membership (my rational is that if I keep paying for it, I'll eventually go), and once in awhile I throw together a small gathering of webfolk in Hollywood. Aside from that I'm definitely a homebody, saving my energy for shows and travel.
I leave the house daily. I run in the morning, take my kid to school, lunch, and then pick my kid up. I usually find an excuse to run out at night too.

A gym proactively suggesting you cancel your membership? Wow, wonders will never cease. Every gym I've ever heard of makes it nearly impossible to cancel... the AOL of the fitness world.
... several times ...
The life is not all cake and ale
Every day I must go (run) (have small stroll) (visite to the shop) ... and more ... it's life
Don't lead a secluded life
A year ago it was:
Get up
Make Coffee
Turn monitor on
ICQ, skype, e-mail
Work-work-work
Eat
Work-work-work
Movie
Drink beer via MSN with webcams
Sleep
Repeat

I worked at home several years but I can recommend to hire an office. It's great, you'll do a lot more work.
I had an office for a while, but with the time it took to get there and back, then having to go out for lunch etc, was losing an hour a day, and the wife was pointing out I was at the office till 9 at night, kids weren't seeing me.
I work long hours but take breaks to fight with the kids. At home
I can leave the spare room and be with the family, at an office I can't do that.
I'll sometimes go a few days without going out, but I live over looking the med, so I can always stare out at the sea and smell the salt...
During the winter, I often go days without stepping outside, let alone actually leaving the property. In the spring and summer, I go outside more, of course.
No matter the season, it's nothing for me to go a week or more at a time and never speak to anyone other than my boys. I tend to be a homebody to start with, so the added isolation probably isn't good for me. Added to that is the mere fact that I work in porn, and don't like to have to cope with the "so....now what is it that you do?" kind of questions.
Generally speaking, leaving the house is something that I have to force myself to do.
