I didn't post the rest of his messaged, but he kept muttering (almost incoherently) about how he makes more money than me. I was afraid he was about to whip out his cock and ask for a comparison.
The best part about the money discussion is that he then cited as examples all the CONTENT he shoots. I was thinking to myself, "er, wait a second. Person A has to chase a buck, shoot content, keep digging for his dough. Person B sits back and does whatever the fuck he wants, following a successful decade. Which would YOU rather be?" .. but in either case, I laughed when he said I was an affiliate of Autoblogger somehow, and implied that a script with roughly 10,000 licensed domains (and much larger gross margins) is somehow less successful than a content company that is constantly bitching about the cost of shooting.
This year, relaxing at *cough* the lake house *cough*, I'll be thinking of Paul Markham's pale, skinny legs as he slaves away for each and every buck. I feel some definite mirth coming on.

I could tell Paul how QUANTITY is not better than QUALITY in this biz but you know how well Paul takes criticism *rolls eyes*.
