Hi MissEve. Your friend Bret was pretty good as Courtney's hook up. Nice pick up there standing outside the theater with the book.
Overall I agree that it did not live up to the two months worth of hype that FX network put into it. Definitely not on the 'Entourage" level. I agree it's hard not to think of Courtney as one of the "Friends" but she did play the part very well I thought.

I usually wait several days and see what everyone says about it. That way, if it sucks, I can just delete it and not get hooked into watching the whole season.

None of the friends spin-offs had former NBA star Rick Fox taking a strap on up the ass. Dirt did as well as some blonde chick getting doggy styled 2x and some other sex and drugs and some trippy schizophrenia sequence that was awesomely LSD-like.
The show itself was decent. I wasn't totally paying attention since I was making galleries but seemed fun. A tad depressing but whatever.Comment

Do you have one of the new Direct HD DVRs?
I bought a new LCD tv a couple of weeks ago and I signed up for the HD package from Direct with the DVR. I foolishly thought it was going to be just like tivo.
The guy came and hooked it up the day after Christmas and I HATE this fucker.
Tivo would practically follow you to the bathroom and wipe your ass for you. I can barely figure out how to turn this stupid thing on. I'm tempted to give up HD just so I can go back to tivo.War National Damn Champions EagleComment

I thought it was pretty good. Not having watched Friends much except some re-runs, I didnt think she was typecast. I believed her character, and I thought overall it was a good pilot. I think it will last a while.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.

i didn't like it much. it seemed like there was a lot of filler since they had to do the longer show w/o commercials. I will keep watching to see if it gets better, but my first impression was its no nip/tuck or Entourage.Comment

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Its verrrrrrrrrrry strange seeing someone you know really well on tv or movies. I watched it with all of our friends and we just kept cracking up about Brets little mannerisms etc. Its hard to be objective.
I will definitely watch because of Bret but I really didn't care about any of the characters. The schizo guy was cool but I think that gimmick might wear thin pretty quick.Comment
