in jaco beach, the place to go WAS the beetle bar.
i've heard since that it has been shut down.
a pity, if true.
here's the comparison i tell people:
--> a heinekin, at the bar, WITH gringo discount (that's what i call it, being a white american)....
was 325 colones.
it's between 420-460 colones to a dollar.
so that means their import beer is less than a dollar.
the only ones there that have a concept of $$ is... the.. umm... entertainment. ;)

anyway, the place to stay near jaco is los suenos.
