He was nicer than he should have been to you. Many sponsor programs have protocol, and that protocol is going through their support desk. It would have taken a minute to type it out, much less time than it took to copy and paste it here, and you would have had your login.
You told him you're having issues with email, and ask him to email you something? Sounds like someone who hacked an email account wanted the login information. He was wise to tell you to use their support desk. |

Heck, anything is theoretically possible. I could be one of the FBI's top 10 most wanted fugitives. However, I had already provided him with as much information as the support desk would request. |

The rep did the right thing. It may feel frustrating at the time but they followed the rules of their company and still kept their cool with you.

I guess I am spoiled. I get such fantastic customer service from companies like Traffic Cash Gold, Platinum Bucks, Cams.com, etc..
I guess I expect that from everybody. |
uhm.... I'm not sure what all the "self ownage" is about...
If the only way to get his password is by email and the email on file happens to filter that email containing his pass as spam what should he have done? It's not like he is able to log-in > change his email adress on file > log out > go to support form Is there really nobody else who believes sending the info to the emailadress on file from another email account should be no big issue? wtf? loose the affiliate managers if a simple request like this is so hard... you could just as well replace them with cheap icq bots that replies "you should use the form on the website" to any question. |

Their security seems top notch to me, you seemed too lazy to complete a support request which would have taken about 30 seconds instead of complaining so much.

He was told specifically what to do, but he would rather argue for 27 minutes, then create this thread, than to follow the procedure given to him. |

This was 10 minutes into the conversation: randall_ANYWC (12:39 AM) : sorry to be a pain, however as this is an affiliate account I need you to go to www.ANYwebcam.com - on the left hand side under the login you will see a help link... please click that and post a question. In you question please include the billing address you have used in your affiliate account and support will look after it straight away randall_ANYWC (12:39 AM) : i understand you are not getting emails at this time so you will have to check back there in 30 mins or so to get your reply |
This is one of these threads where ya start to respond but then think - what the hell :)
Next... |
1) You use an aol account for affiliate program sign ups?
2) You are a massive sig whoring tool Just out of curiousity...how many paid signups did you send them in 2006? |
