Way to go! I stopped 5 weeks ago :)
Remember that you only think about a cigarette for 1-2 minutes if you feel like smoking or see somebody else smoking. The moments you want to smoke will decrease. The first week your body will detox, after that it's just in your head ;) Hardest times for me is when I go out and get busted.... I learned to just take a mint every time I want to smoke.. and mint and alcohol (beer) don't go together...so after a while you wil not think about it anymore ;) |

i quit 5 or 6 years ago - and never touched one cigarette again
the first couple of days are hard - but only if someone elso told you to stop. if it's your own free will it's not that big problem. and then again after a couple of months it's getting difficult - when you think you're over it and it wouldn't matter to smoke one single cigarette after a meal or after drinking alcohol - don't do it, it won't work. 10 minutes later you will be out buying a box. today i don't feel the need for a cigarette ever - it even disturbs me when others smoke. good luck :thumbsup |
