I know enough to tell you that's BAD... you're gonna need a pro.

I tried to flash my bios once... that computer's still sitting in the closet.

Corrupted bios or hardware failure on the motherboard, I think.

Sounds like the bios got crapped on. Time to get out the manual and see how to reload the bios... good f-ing luck.

Did you try to completly power it down, either unplug it or just power down the power supply with the switch on the back? Ive had similar things happen and that sometimes fixed it. But most likely something is fuxored.

that's more likely. I'll have to go with a corrupted bio. If possible (I can do this on my Asus board) get a good copy of the most recent bios and install it.

One simple thing to try is to make sure all your cards and RAM are seated well. Check all your connections. Also sometimes a dead HD can make things lock instead of boot.

Last time I had a big computer problem, I just threw it away and bought a smaller computer.

Wow, looks like Karma came knocking.

Either way, I can man up and say I hope you get it resolved.

does it say BIO NOT FOUND

or

OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND

because, my question is, if it say bios not found, how can you get into the bios setup?

It was the battery on the motherboard. Man for a guy who talks out of both sides of his mouth to talk about karma is funny. I wish you you a happy new year.

Roffle, a few months ago you're all like "Hey, can I have a job? I need some work" in ICQ. I decline you, then you're in my threads being an idiot. I see you in other people's threads, too, so it just compounds the amusement.

I say Karma came for a visit, you say it's a battery. To each his own, I guess!

Maybe there is a hardware problem with the motherboard or some thing that is connected. You will need to check it part by part.

Haha, are you kidding? We talked about how you trashed Jimmy-3-Way for no apparent reason, and I didn't want your "webmaster services" that you were shilling for (some outsourced service). If only I still had my PC ..

I think you might have Tony mixed up with someone else man. He works on his own, he does all the video editing for his wife's site, and they do pretty well

in fact, Tony rarely even picks up editing side jobs as far as I know..

he is a pretty damn good friend of mine, i really think you have him mixed up with someone else

I apologized privately in ICQ and in this thread as well. You actually replied to the older post, which I'm sure was an oversight between gentlemen. I'll point you one post above yours for reference.

No problem. ICQ went to 52416841. Did you change yours? Said this:

To: 52416841

9:41:08 PM 501917: Hey Tony, it's Edgeprod from GFY. I apologized in your thread for calling you out like that. I wanted to apologize in private, as well. Happy New Year, and I hope your PC gets fixed.

Haha, I thought he was being a dick in my other thread, virtually destroying the trust necessary to facilitate a bidding-transaction, because he was mad at me.

See where assuming gets you? He assumed there was a shill bid, I assumed he was doing it because he was mad at me.

We both said we were sorry, so we can all have a group hug now, haha.
