Much of the under 13 hockey these days is played without contact at all (or very limited) and some of the kids develop very good skills at a young age. However, puthim in a game and let him get checked a couple of times, and there will likely be a difference.

Sydney Crosby is a stunningly good player... but it has taken him a while to learn how to really take a check and keep going.

Not sure where u live but here in NorCal all hockey under 18 is full contact. We have a bar on the second floor where we play some of our games and we have beers and watch these 17 year old's practice after our *old people* league games. We see some of those moves and our jaws drop. And those kids are FAST and mean when it comes to full contact hockey so I don't think checking them hard is going to do anything other then piss them off, which is when they score 7 goals then slowly pull away.

Nice find. Kid is good. Some of those are not legal penality shots though. But still impressive
