I'm thinking of letting my wife work with me, though I do like it when she is at HER work and I get the house to myself. Working together may be more of a pain, but we could make A LOT more together.

if anyone is thinking of letting their girlfriend help out and work together, my advice - don't do that, ever (at least not fulltime, if she has a job or does something else on the side and just helps you out occasionally that's fine)..
Me and my gf have relationship crisis every now and then because of too-much-time spent together and whatnot reasons (sometimes I feel like she's getting greedy and wants me to give her a larger cut just because we're together etc.. lots of unneeded crap..)

We work together and it works fine. One thing though..... our office is NOT at home. We made a rule out of NOT working together at home. We have our office and i still have another job as a pilot flying private jets. We used to do our internet ventures at home besides my job as a pilot but it just put to much weight on our relationship. Now i still fly, less then i used to, just enough to keep my license but the most important thing is that we never work together anymore at home. It may seem as a useless rule but it helped us in many ways in regard of working together and still not feeling like it consumes our relationship.
Conclusion: you can work together but you need somekind of buffer.Comment

No. The girlfriend and I work separately. She knows enough about what I do to be interested, and to talk about it whenever she feels like it though. Her knowing a bit about the adult biz makes it so it's not like we're from two different planets when talking about work. I am in the process of teaching my significant other to submit... It's rather difficult cause we fight so much. And plus the other person is a rather slow learner and not taking direction very well. They don't like to listen to what I say and are always questioning what I say or saying I don't explain it good enough, or am explaining too fast, etc. Sometimes I think their totally out of it. I taught this person how to submit already last year and they did it for around a month, I'm just getting them started again.
But anyways, I can GUARANTEE that if this person listens to me they will make a few grand a month at worst. There is no way they can fail if they listen to me. I cannot guarantee they can make what I do, but it's guaranteed they will make something. Even so, we're constantly fighting so much that this person is not getting too much done. It will get better though I hope.
This person is not working right now and too unstable to get a real-world job, so this is the only way I can get this person to start making some dough and stop leeching off of me because it's driving me up the wall. I don't expect anything in return, I just want this person to make their own money and pay their own bills and be stable, that will be enough for me.Comment

It's not nuclear science, It's very simple. This person wanted me actually draw them a diagram, like of us, and then of the internet, and the gallery, and where we submit it too, and where the traffic comes from... kind of like a flow chart. I mean, this person is VERY internet savvy, their not a newb on the net. It's not really a hard concept to grasp, you know, like WE'RE the affiliates and we PROMOTE sponsors. Their asking me stuff like "who's the affiliate? Is "sponsor name here" an affiliate?" Just stuff like that. It just bugs meComment
