People asking for link trades these days

I can't believe just how stupid and ignorant the emails I get these days asking for link trades are.

they demand - they don't ask - they demand a trade cause they THINK they are someone.

I havn't had someone send me traffic first before asking for probally 2 years - and even then it was only one person and before that it was probally 5 years.

why the fuck would i dump an existing person for someone new i have no history with?

ok - all you piece of shit circle jerk morons - tell me why i'm an asshole and wrong here.

is there just a total lack of marketing skills out there? it always BLOWS me away just how stupid most are with their requests for trades and how they go about getting them

Seems like you were born with traffic others are less fortunate. Start a new site and accept these new trades there you could grow a network of 'new comers', I'm sure you can make it worthwhile :2cents.

I was looking at some of my old sites in archive.org the other day. Trading sites was fun back then Of course, so many of them aren't even in the biz any more, but we were such a small community back in the late 90's - before ICQ even - and you'd email someone for a trade. I have zero idea if they were sending traffic to me, if I was sending to them, etc. It was more of a friendly thing to do.

and i bet most of the sites that ask to trade skim like 99% of their traffic, so any trade like that would be worthless, and the prod would sucks balls.

why would he add trades that dont benefit him at all, and make the value of his traffic even go down.

i dont think hes an idiot.

for me, all link trades are ignored, unless i know the person.

Yeah, I remember when Sharky first told me about ICQ - he was still too young to drink at shows . It might have come out in 96 but I don't think it was big in the adult biz until the later 90's.
