...while he was still president.
Was in '76 on his re-election campaign when I was 15, was a pretty big thing at the time for a kid

I shook his hand in the early 80's when I lived in Grand Rapids, MI and attended the dedication for his presidential museum there. The thing I remember about that day the most is that Richard Simmons was there too.
