Ford whitewashed the Warren Commission report on the JFK assassination, pardoned Nixon in order to assume the Presidency, appointed Bush Sr, Cheney and Rumsfeld to key posts, and got trounced by Carter.
In the 30 years since leaving office I can't list anything significant that he accomplished besides playing golf. Carter is still active on a number of issues and on various humanitarian projects. ADG Webmaster |
