Depends on how much money you want to spend:

      I would def. go with a 46" Full-HD model:

      Good deal, and good quality:
      - Sharp 46" - I will get this one next week.

      Dearer, a bit better:
      - Sony 46"

Besides that you can't go wrong with Phillips or Samsung.

The new Sony Bravia 1080P LCD and the Samsung 1080P LCDs are really nice. Probably the best two LCDs on the market.

        The Sony costs more though.

they say the Gas in the Plasma starts to deplete after 7-8 years but who the hell cares .. I'm sure I'll be buying something bigger or better by then. technology moves so fast

I have an LCD in the bedroom and just ordered two 42" plasma ... I'll let you know what one i like better in a month

Besides that LCD wins over Plasma in every point. There are already now Full-HD 52" panels. And you don't got the problem with the burn-in effect of the plasmas. which can be horrible. I've seen it, you can see the logo for like 6-10 hours...
