I have said it before, but if it is devoting your life to your God/Jesus, then for your own sake, seek to do so in an area unrelated to your past in adult entertainment. I'm not kidding when I say if you want to renounce all things material and truly help those most in need, go to Africa and help children orphaned by AIDS or starving to death in the Sudan. I have honestly thought about doing that myself at times. I'm sorry all of this is coming to a head on your birthday. Truly I am. When I was a young man my father called me on the phone the day before my birthday - I thought he was calling to wish me an early happy birthday. Instead he told me to sit down, and then told me my mother had died. I was devasted. I have never looked forward to a birthday since. Life is hard and is often painful and uncomprehendable. Seek solace in the things that matter most. Seek happiness and peace. Accept that you are not in control of everything and that you are insignificant in the grand scheme of things, and then attempt to realize your potential despite this knowledge. For me, that is the path to happiness. Anyway, as I said before, I am not the person to come to for answers... I teasingly wished you happy birthday before, but seriously, get some sleep, have a good cry tomorrow if you need to, then go out in nature or get together with the ones you love, and embrace that life and love on your birthday instead of dwelling on the negative.
