i love djing out, but I haven't actively promoted myself as a dj in a long time...I only play quality gigs along side quality artists....I am SO picky about what I will and won't spin at, it really has cut down on the bullshit though, I haven't gotten pissed off at a gig in months, and I always get paid now!!! i used to get paid like 1 out of 3 times cause I would spin anywhere anytime....LOL..

yeah i remember those days. gotta just dj for the established promoters at big clubs. i don't dj for free either. fuck that.

You know I was thinking of going to the Backyard in Hermosa

Seems like the perfect place to me, other than maybe a place like Vertigo... but beach parties are always better. My buddy's gf went last year and said it was a blast, so it looks like Jaco for new years

I almost went to brasil to party with dickman's on the beach in bahia. i can't wait for costa rica again. i am mcing that same party. this time video secrets is throwing that bash though.

Did you check out Vertigo when you were here? Depending on who is scheduled in Feb it is worth checking out... it's the closest thing CR has to a real electronic club, they fly in DJs from Europe and the USA every month.
