I am thinking about getting a Sony PSP....

I am seriously considering getting a PSP

I am not a big gamer, but overall it seems like the best portable system that has some out in a long time.....I saw in Best Buy that there is a wireless net addon for it too

what other uses does that damn thing have?

My daughter has one and Im addicted to her SSX game. Highly recommend it.

Other uses : you can buy movies.

I use mine as a book reader. It's great for reading in bed and not worrying about having a light on.

I have 2 ... one's my sons and one is mine .. I use the wireless internet a bit but i really love converting my DVDs and putting them on the SD card. I have a 4 Gig card and you can fit about 7-8 movies on it .. in good quality .. my son does the same. great for road trips and they sell a headrest mount for the car.

Little pissant discs size of your thumb. Might be possible to download movies in the future.

If you want it cos you travel, then you can get no better. Graphics are equal to ps2 and you have a huge game choice. But if you want it for office or home, id take someones advice and go with 360 ... or even the new ps3.

If you travel a lot I can recommend you one, it plays music-films-games. With a 4 GB memory stick in it that's a lot of music/movie files. If you not planning on it using it for travel, buy a console as 360, ps3 or Wii that's a lot better than. It uses UMD disks. Hope that helps

I have a few 1gig cards and i just got a 4gig card from buy.com for $100 .. I'm converting movies now .. a movie like Casino is almost 3 hours long I convert it to 348bps / 15fps with good quality audio and it's only 517MB .. it looks great on the small screen but if you want even better quality you can adjust the software and make a bigger file. the software is like $30 .. I use PSP Movie Creator ( http://www.pqdvd.com/psp/ ) you can find free ones but i think this one works best out of the ones I've tried

I really love my PSP. I wasn't sure how I was going to like playing on the small screen, but it is so crisp and clear it draws you in.
