    whats the big deal with PR???

    Why is it worth my time to spend 5-10$ a month to put a single hardlink on a PR3 or PR4 site? Isn't this money better spent on bringing in 1-3k in traffic from a traffic seller? Doesn't PR simply raise your chances in being found by a search engine? If this is the case, then does the added PR really bring in 1-3k traffic per month?

    It seems to be a less effective way of bringing in traffic compared to just buying it.

    Any comments would be greatly appreciated, because I'm seriously confused.

      PR doesn't mean much, a site without PR can get more search engine traffic then a site with PR. I would spend $ buying a link on the site with PR. Buying traffic seem to be a bit better, but only quality traffic, better is to spend your $ on some cool content or image header.

              I wouldn't buy hardlinks for adult sites. There are plenty you can trade with for free.

              But for a mainstream site it makes a lot of sense to pay for hardlinks with PR.

                  PR used to mean a lot more than it does now. It's basically a pretty green bar. Get quality backlinks if you want organic traffic.
