Many 60GB PS3 auctions are ending at $600 or below. PS3 supply is severely constrained, it's the busiest retail week of the year, and no one is interested in buying PS3s. People are selling them on Ebay are losing money just to get rid of them. When your recently launched product is being dumped at a loss, it's time to panic.

I think it is more a case of people choosing not to get ripped off, plus the fact that Sony actually seems to be shipping some more consoles to stores now. Lots of places are reporting having them in stock, with some single stores getting shipments in of 30 or more.Comment

It's a $600.00 game console... that's a lot of money for every day working people. I am sure many people are waiting to get it at the store and waiting for more games to come out as well before they can justify spending the $600.

its funny how cheap people are. you spend $600 to turn around and sell it for $800 and pocket $200. some people have too much time on their hands. the trip to the store and finding a buyer isn't worth $200. maybe if i could do it as a business it would be worth a damn, but a one off shot. id rather go home and play the thing and get stoned and enjoy my afternoon. I myself own a PS3 and it is a good system. Talledaga Nights looks beautiful on my tv. I can't really say it's a great system yet because there's not a lot of games out for it to show off it's power. I think that by next year this time, the system is gonna be a great system
I actually happend to be at Wal-Mart at the right time and ended up buying an extra system to sell on Ebay. It ended last Friday and sold for $701, so I did pocket $65 on it (I paid $600+$36 tax). I was hoping that since it was closer to Christmas that I could've made a little more, but oh well, at least it didn't go for less than I paid for it.Comment

As big as Sony is, you'd think they would have one intelligent person at the company who would have said, 'well let's release some good games at the start so people don't get pissed off'. There's not 1 game right now I would play for PS3, so I'll wait a couple of months until they decide to release good games. Xbox 360 has much better games right now.Comment

Right now I only have Madden I love it.
I play the PS2 GT4 on it though as thats one of my favorite games.
I also took a boat load of pictures off my camera that has been there for years and got them organized on there etc. Its a neat unit.
Again I am FAR from a gamer so I am not one to offer a review on a product like this. I do know having the blu-ray players is a huge plus. The entire package works for me.Living in Virtual Reality
